Originally from Manchester, Johnny Mollet was inspired to DJ by
many nights spent at the legendary Hacienda in its days pioneering
house music in the UK. His hobby turned professional after moving
to London where he has held long-term residencies at The Edge, Manto
Soho and the Factor 25 series of clubs. Guest dates have included
Manchester's Paradise Factory, The End's 'Atelier' and AKA's 'Blonde'.
He now holds a monthly residency at The End and AKA's 'As One' Saturday
nights.
He
has also been playing regularly at Le Queen in Paris (home of Ministry
of Sound's Paris residency) for over a year. He soon became monthly
and now weekly resident. He has compiled and mixed an extremely
successful CD for Queen (it reached number one in Paris's dance
compilation charts).Johnny took a break from London in summer 2001
and spent four months in Ibiza with residencies for Trade and Ministry
of Sound. He has done guest mixes on Ministry Radio both in Ibiza
and London.
